Blueprint designed and tested an outcomes measurement framework and evaluation tool kit for Social Venture Partners International, an association of community philanthropy circles. The tool kit, which was developed with three pilot sites, serves as a simple, standardized method for 21 affiliates to document impact in their local communities. The approach employs surveys, organizational capacity assessments and “most significant change” stories. The tool kit includes evaluation tools, directions, documentation and an outcomes report template that affiliates can use to implement the evaluation themselves. The tools have been implemented effectively by multiple local affiliates, and have successfully been used to capture the collective impact of SVPI.
