Embracing the Journey From Good to Great: A Portrait of the Nation’s Largest Hunger Relief Network (S. Gillis, August 2010)
Blueprint Research + Design, Inc. has helped many funders and philanthropic intermediary organizations assess the capacity of a broad swath of nonprofit organizations to inform program design. We specialize in customizing an approach to capacity assessment (developed by McKinsey & Co. and Venture Philanthropy Partners) to each client’s information needs and organizational culture. Beginning in 2009, Blueprint worked with the national office of Feeding America to develop and implement a customized member capacity assessment tool (CSAT). This report captures the findings from that work and our recommendations for the national office, for members, and for funders.
