Cory Sbarbaro

Cory Sbarbaro is founder and principal of Turnpoint Consulting, an independent firm that strives to deepen the impact of progressive nonprofit organizations in the Pacific Northwest. His areas of expertise include executive transitions and interim leadership, organizational assessment, planning and strategy formation, executive coaching, and board development. In addition to his work as a consultant, he is a Senior Advisor at the Nancy Bell Evans Center on Nonprofits & Philanthropy, a trainer for United Way of King County and the Nonprofit Center of South Puget Sound, and the lead instructor for the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program at the University of Washington. Cory was a co-creator of the Pacific Northwest Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute — an intensive, five-day learning experience for senior-level nonprofit professionals — and continues to teach in the program. Cory holds an MPA from the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington. He has served on several nonprofit boards, most recently as the Board President of Solid Ground.
