Tony Wang is an independent consultant that works at the intersection of philanthropy, social enterprise, and mission investing. Previously, Tony was a Research Associate on Blueprint’s staff and was a research assistant at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation where he supported Paul Brest and Hal Harvey in the writing of their new book, Money Well Spent: A Strategic Guide to Smart Philanthropy. His undergraduate work includes research on the link between philanthropy and inequality, and teaching assistance in two courses on social entrepreneurship. Tony has a B.A. in Philosophy and a minor in Economics from Stanford University and graduated with honors from the Ethics in Society Program. He currently serves on the board of the San Francisco chapter of the Social Enterprise Alliance.
