Tina Joh

Tina Joh, Analyst, has worked in the philanthropic industry for over ten years. As a consultant and staff member, she has worked for affinity groups, regional associations of grantmakers, foundations and nonprofits. She brings a background in community activism, women’s issues and social justice philanthropy. Before coming to Blueprint she worked as the director of research for the Minnesota Council on Foundations, where she analyzed regional foundation and corporate giving, created common grant and reporting forms, and implemented a grantmakers’ diversity study. She has also worked for community development and affordable housing nonprofits. Tina has extensive experience with various qualitative research methods and has conducted research and analysis for projects such as corporate funding for the arts, how foundations measure their community impact, and cultural competency in program evaluation. Tina has an M.A. in public affairs from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota, and a B.A. from Indiana University.
