Social Venture Partners Seattle sought to evaluate the effectiveness of its philanthropy promotion and organizational capacity building missions. Blueprint's evaluation findings prompted significant and immediate changes in SVP operational practices and long-term vision. The findings also advanced the field's knowledge of best practices in high engagement grantmaking, capacity building, and donor education. Blueprint's evaluation report, Transforming Philanthropic Transactions: An Evaluation of the First Five Years of SVP Seattle, has been widely disseminated throughout the philanthropic community. mended programmatic opportunities for the foundation that would support community foundations and philanthropic associations in the coming years.
